The Surface Mount Circulator can be installed by reflow soldering. About its pad design: First of all, according to its pin size, each pin can be made a pad. For example, the Circulator pin is Φ1.2mm, we can make a 1.5mm pad: then make a pad at the bottom, and ground the bottom (As shown below).
Note: There should be no too much solder paste, so as to avoid the solder paste overflowing around after the Circulator is put on, which may cause a short circuit at the bottom of the three pins.
